NEW Release LEPTON 7.1.0

This version is mostly a maintaining release. It also contains some important bugfixes, rewritten core files and updated addons.

LEPTON requires PHP 8.1.x as a minimum (PHP 8.2.x recommended) and is already tested with latest PHP 8.3.2

You should read the list of deprecated functions/methods/files in the docs to check which modifications you have to do in your addons or templates.

What is done in this LEPTON release?

Here is a (non-complete) list of changes, see changelog for all changes and details:

• Updated libs and modules, for example:
  • updated lib_fomantic to current release 2.9.3
  • updated tinymce to current 6.8.3.0, for details read tinymce infos
  • updated lib_r_filemanager to fit the needs of php 8.3.x
  • updated jquery-ui to release 1.13.2
  • updated lib_twig to current release 3.8.0.0
  • updated lib_phpmailer to current release 6.9.0.0
  • update htmlpurifier to fit php 8.3.x
• Improved some LEPTON core classes.
• New methods and functions, for details please read the docs.
• Deprecated methods and functions that will be removed in next LEPTON release, for details please read the docs.
• Add some types and specifications to class LEPTON_request to improve saving into the database.
• Improved and recoded the frontend login and register process.
• Added filters, operators and functions to class lib_twig_box.
• Notice: we added a htaccess file to the root of your installation (if there is none) for security reasons. Please read the docs for details.

LEPTON stable is available on Downloadpage and also a mobile Version can be downloaded.

Upgrade to LEPTON 7.1.0 is possible and recommended.Please use the stable package also for upgrading..
