LEPTON 2.2.0 released

We are happy to release LEPTON 2.2.0 as Stable Version today.

What is done in LEPTON 2.2.0?

Here is a (non-complete) list of changes, see changelog for details:

  • PHP 7 compatible
  • PDO support now fully functional
  • updated a lot of libs and modules
  • removed form module from the package (no longer supported) and added quickform as replacement. Latest form module is available on github
  • removed addon file editor (afe) from the package (no longer supported), use something like notepad++ with ftp function instead, easier handling. Latest AFE is available on github
  • updated lib_jquery ( outdated jquery 1 series in addition still on board for old jquery plugins)
  • fixed smtp bug in lib_phpmailer and reworked and updated addon
  • updated tiny_mce including update of filemanager and some bugfixes, enable customizing without overriding
  • fixed bugs in frontend login and register
  • added notie script to lib_lepton
  • improved utf-8 saving in wysiwyg module
  • reworked class.validate_request for easy database savings
  • fixed bug in email_filter droplet
  • bugfix in news module (groups)
  • added missing index.php in directories
  • htpps tested
  • removed intro-page functionality (use standard page with blank template instead)
  • lot of core code reworked... still going on

 

 

Version 2.2.0 stable is available on Downloadpage and also a mobile Version can be downloaded.

 

Upgrade to LEPTON 2.2.0 is possible .
