This release is mainly a maintaining and bugfix release, but got some important improvements.
As always you should read the list of deprecated functions/methods/files in the docs to check which modifications you have to do in your addons or templates.
- customizing TFA infos via templates.
- TFA codes via email are expiring (see value in the lepton.ini file).
- Added a message method for action in the FE.
- Added a message method for also for action in the BE.
- Improved handling with class LEPTON_date and fixed some bugs (sections, preferences)
- Improved handling signup and login-form, also using tfa (mails etc)
- Improved output and customizing using simplepagehead with package addons
- Easier handling customizing language files, see details.
- Rework the page settings. If you move pages, the url field is now the "leading value", please check dirs and access files after moving pages first. If you run into troubles, use the forum.
7.4.0 also contains rewritten core files, additional methods and updated addons.
We updated some addons to fit the needs of European Accessibility Act.
LEPTON still requires PHP 8.1.x as a minimum (PHP 8.4.x recommended) and is already tested with latest PHP 8.4.12

- Added class LEPTON_data for use instead of lib_lepton_datetools, for details see docs.
- updated tinymce to current 8.0.x, for details read tinymce infos
- updated lib_fomantic to 2.9.4.0
- updated lib_r_filemanager to fit the needs of php 8.4.x
- updated jquery-ui to release 1.14.x
- updated lib_twig to current release 3.21.x and added filters, functions, tags
- updated lib_phpmailer to current release 6.10.x
- updated html_purifier to current release
- Improved some LEPTON core classes and core code (is_null).
- Improved LEPTON secure_database and LEPTON_request.
- Improved behaviour of page-tree in the backend.
- New methods and functions, for details please read the docs.
- Deprecated methods and functions that will be removed in next LEPTON release, for details please read the docs.
- Updated libs and modules, for example:
LEPTON stable is available on Downloadpage and also a mobile Version can be downloaded.
Upgrade to LEPTON 7.4.0 is possible and recommended.Please use the stable package also for upgrading..
