NEW Release LEPTON 5.5.0.

This is mainly a maintaining release of LEPTON with some bugfixes, but introduces new tool wysiwyg Settings.

LEPTON requires PHP 8.x as a minimum ( PHP 8.1.x recommended) and is already tested with latest PHP 8.1.11

You should read the list of deprecated functions/methods/files in the docs.

 

What is done in this LEPTON release?

Here is a (non-complete) list of changes, see changelog for all changes and details:

  • updated libs and modules, for example:
    • updated tinymce to 6.x series ( current 6.2.0.0), for details read tinymce infos
    • updated lib_lepton to current release, especially modified datetools, vcard and upload
    • updated lib_r_filemanager to fit the needs of php 8.1.x. In addition we enable upload and handling of new image files webp,avif,jxl.
    • updated editarea
    • updated lib_twig to current release 3.4.3.0
    • updated lib_phpmailer to current release 6.6.4.0
  • new methods and functions, for details please read the docs.
  • remove b>wysiwyg Admin and introduce the follower wysywig Settings, which has a new concept and is coded from scratch. See also the relevant classes inside editors to learn how to connect the editor with the new tool.
  • Some important bugfixes in captcha_control and quickform to ensure working of honeypot fields and captcha

 

LEPTON stable is available on Downloadpage and also a mobile Version can be downloaded.

 

Upgrade to LEPTON 5.5.0 is possible and recommended.
